The Blur Of Time
fight omicron.
I’ve noticed that my recent memo- ries are blurry, and it’s been hard to recall exactly when I experi- enced a certain event, or even who it was with. If you can relate and want to know why, it’s simply because there have been fewer distinctive events. Many of our daily experienc- es have overlapped because we spent more time in the same space, on the same computer screen, with the same people, doing the same activities.
We effortlessly remember details when they have emotional impact, and though it has been emotional, there have also been far fewer seg- ments to our day and more monotony. That is why the past feels blurry.
The oddest part, though, is know- ing that we are living in a momentous time, yet feeling as if nothing really significant happened.
