projects because it’s Earth Month. And, with Easter this coming Sunday, I thought, “Why not make a bunny?”
use it to organize your craft markers and tools.
This week, we are taking a 2-liter bottle and turning it into a useful container
You can also make other animals or characters, too. Let your imagination go! After all, it’s still National Craft Month.
Don’t forget, when you make something, send me a photo to joyofcrafting@ gmail.com. If I share it here, I’ ll send you a Ben Franklin Crafts gift card.
1.
Cut the top off the bottle as close to the top as you can if you want long ears. Adults may want to assist younger children.
Sketch a bunny face and ears on scratch paper and place inside of the bottle.
3.
Use a marker to trace the bunny face and ears on the outside of the bottle, including the top edge. Cut around the markings on the bottle. Check and trim off any uneven areas that may snag or poke you later. If there are still marker lines, you can remove them using rubbing alcohol.
