            SUPPLIES AND TOOLS:
• 6-by-6-inch wood plaque surface (No. 30197688), or similar • white Hearty Clay (No. 30006454)
• plastic Ziploc bag or wax paper • gold acrylic paint
(Delta Ceramcoat in Kim Gold,
No. 77625673)
• “Santa Key” poem printed
on paper
• X-Acto or clay knife • scissors
• paintbrush
• double-stick tape
(No. 30013284) or thin liquid glue • 8 inches of cord or ribbon for
the key
• low-temp glue gun and glue
sticks
 2 Roll out a thin log of Hearty Clay and place onto the key’s tines/teeth pattern at the bottom. Cut off the pieces
with the X-Acto knife.
3 Roll out a thicker log of Hearty Clay for the length of the key. Place onto
the three tines at the bottom. Press together. Shape and trim the key length as needed. Set aside.
