Ingredients:
• 1 small yellow onion, diced
• 1/2 stick unsalted butter
• 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)
• 1 packet McCormick’s Zesty Spaghetti
Sauce, dried
• 1 can sliced mushrooms
• 2 cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes • 1 jar basic marinara sauce
• 1 box spaghetti noodles, cooked
• salt, to taste
• Parmesan cheese, grated, optional
Directions:
Turn stove to medium heat. Melt butter in a medium-sized sauce pan or pot, then sauté onions until they start to turn translucent.
Add browned beef, sliced mushrooms, sauce packet, stewed tomatoes and marinara sauce.
Let simmer on low heat for at least 15 minutes. Pour over cooked pasta and add some cheese, if
you like.
